Method 2: Upgrade to Higher Windows Installer Version

• Open Start menu and then select Run.
• To unregister Windows Installer, in the Open box, type the following command and then select OK.
  
  msiexec /unreg
  
  
• To re-register Windows Installer, in the Open box, type the following command and then select OK.
  
  msiexec /regserver
