Method 2: Upgrade to Higher Windows Installer Version

1. Click the link given below to open the MSDN Download Center Web site:

2. In the Other Resources section on the right, select All Microsoft Downloads.
3. In the Recommended Downloads section on the bottom of this page, select the Microsoft Windows Installer link.
4. On the Microsoft Windows Installer Web page that opens, select the Windows Installer version you want to download and install on your computer.
5. After you download, install the Windows Installer on your computer.
