Method 3: Uninstall Failed Product using the Windows Installer CleanUp UtilityMicrosoft has developed the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to enable users to remove the Windows Installer configuration information of a program that was installed using the Windows Installer tool on your computer. Most of the times, you need to clean up Windows installer configuration information of a program when you encounter problems during the program installation. For example, you may want to clear the Windows Installer configuration information of your Microsoft Office suite, when you face problem while adding or removing a component from it. All Windows Installer configuration files and registry entries for the programs will be removed from the system. Note : When you use the utility remove the Windows Installer configuration information of a program, and then you reinstall the program on your computer, you must install the program in the same folder in which it was installed earlier.
