Method 5: Clear the Contents of User and System "temp" Folders

1. Open Start menu, select Run, type %systemdrive%\temp and then click the OK button.
   
   This will display the system “temp” folder.
   
   
2. On the Edit menu, choose the Select All command.
3. Right-click on the selected files and then select Delete.
4. Repeat the steps for the following folders:

1. Windows “temp” folder: %windir%\temp
2. User “temp folder”: %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Tem
