Problems with Windows Messenger

After installing Windows Messenger 5.0 on your computer, you may experience the following problems:

  • The performance of your Windows computer deteriorates and the system frequently starts freezing up.
  • The Csrss.exe process starts consuming 100 percent CPU and 200 megabytes (MB) of memory.
  • The problem solves temporarily when you end the Msmsgs.exe process or if you reboot your system, the problem is temporarily resolved.
  • If you do not restart your Windows or messenger, then the problem may reoccur in about 14 or more days.

Note : You can see information related to CPU and Memory usage on the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager, which you can open the pressing the Alt + Shit + Del keys.
