Disable the Credentials dialog That Appears When Connecting to Windows Vista Server "Longhorn"

The Connect to credentials dialog box may be displayed every time try to connect a Windows Mobile 6.0 device on which Windows Mobile Device Center (IRM) is not activated to a Windows Vista Server “Longhorn” having default configuration—which means IRM is installed on it.

To disable the appearance of the Connect to credentials dialog box, provide your user credentials in the dialog box and then click the OK button.

The credentials dialog box will not display again until you log off and log on again to the system.

To permanently disable the dialog box, in the Windows Mobile Device Center window, open the Mobile Device Settings menu, and select the Activate Information Rights Management command.

After IRM is activated on your device, the credential dialog box will not display for this device again.
